labeling of glass

Can anyone tell me when the glass manufacturers started labeling their glass (tempered, heat strengthened, laminated)?

Dave,

I Believe FULLY tempered glass has been labeled from the time tempered glass was required, which was in 1977.

As far as "heat-tteated" glass, I don't thnk it has ever been required to be labeled.

As for laminated it would depend on the location. Check out this link for more information.

Good luck,
