"Construction Window Cleaning Basics" Seminar with Dan Fields
This 2 hour and 40 minute 2 DVD set provides information covering the basic issues faced in construction window cleaning. Dan discusses his preferred tools and demonstrates the proper techniques and use of chemicals for removing stucco, paint and texture from windows, frames, walls and sills. "Tempered Glass Defects" Seminar with Dan Fields
This 1 hour and 15 minute video contains the facts you need to know about what causes tempered glass scratches. Dan explains exactly what tempered glass defects are and how they occur. He presents magnified images of defective tempered glass and demonstrates on a poor quality tempered glass sample that it's not the use of a scraper during window cleaning that causes tempered glass scratches. "Water Spot Removal" Seminar with Dan Fields
In this 35 minute video, Dan displays the difference between hard water spots, tin etch haze and glass corrosion. He discusses the use of chemicals like hydrofluoric and phosphoric acid for the removal of hard water spots and the problems associated with acid use. He addresses some of the misconceptions about tin etch haze and offers suggestions of how to avoid this issue while removing hard water spots. This video also includes a slide show which contains close-up images of hard water spots, tin etch haze and glass corrosion on various glass samples.
